Review content:
My daughter ordered a Matthew Christopher gown 9 months before her wedding. It arrived much later than promised and it was much too tight (she's size 8 and had lost 10 lbs). When we asked how this could have happened as we were told at the fitting that the gown would be custom made according to the measurements taken, we were rudely told that the gown was not custom made but it had a custom hem. They also told us that the gown would stretch. We took the gown to an independent seamstress to correct. My daughter had also ordered a headpiece and satin gloves when she ordered her gown. The headpiece came in 3 weeks before the wedding and NYLON gloves were sent to her 2 days before the wedding. When we called to say they were the wrong gloves we were rudely told that we didn't know the difference between satin and nylon. After spending almost $4,000 at their shop, they never tried to rectify any of the problems. The whole experience at Bridal Trousseau was very stressful, such poor customer service and bad attitudes. They don't even deserve 1 star, they deserve a 0!
