Review content:
Zehnder's is quite famous in Frankenmuth as one of the great places to get chicken. While they do offer a lot of food, I wasn't that impressed by it. The first thing that I disliked about the experience was the fact that you had to stand in line in order to get a table. Even though you place your name on a list you still have to remain in a line until your table is ready for you. Sine there are other things to do in Zehnder's, like shopping and sites, this was somewhat annoying as the wait could last a half an hour or longer. I was also not impressed by the food that I ordered. However, I did not get what people typically get which is the buffet of chicken. For a set price you can get all the chicken that you wish and the waiters keep bringing it on in for you. I instead picked something off of the menu and found that it had this overall chicken taste, even though it wasn't a fully chicken dish. It seems as if the smell of the fried chicken has permeated all of the dishes. What I did enjoy about Zehnder's was actually the appetizers that came with the meals. There was a large spread of noodles, pate and other food to start off with and these were quite enjoyable. While I wasn't a fan of Zehnder's it is quite famous and my friends enjoyed it. So it may have just been the dish that I got, or the mood that I was in at the time. It may still be worth a look since it is a Frankenmuth staple and has a charming atmosphere and decor.
