I took my car in because the check engine light was on. I talked to them at 11:05 and they had not started it, they called back at 12:20 with a diagnosis and quote. They determined that the mass air flow sensor was bad and needed to be replaced (which we already knew from having the code read at AutoZone for free). They said it would COST $490.00!!! After calling one other shop they said it would cost $100 for the exact same work and parts. So these guys wanted to take advantage of me for almost $400.00. When I said we were going to pick up the car he told me that I would be charged $113.00 for diagnosing the problem. I don’t mind paying them for their work but that’s $30.00 more than the dealer. They tried to justify their cost by saying that they spent 1 ½ hours working on it but since they had not started it at 11:05, and they called with the quote at 12:20 then the most they could have possibly spent on it was 1 hour fifteen minutes (if they took it in right after they got off the phone and called me back the same minute they finished it, which I doubt). So they are without question being dishonest. We drove almost an hour to get our car worked on here because it WAS a great place to get your car worked on, not anymore. I will never go there again and I will advise people to stay away.
