This will sound like the other reviews but it is true. My fluid gauge and oil gauge pegged to the left in under a second. I pulled off of the freeway and a couple of minutes later I limped back toSimi Valley with the "check engine light" on.. I took the car into Rebel Engine today thinking it will cost whatever it will cost and I'll just have to bite the bullet. Due to personal circumstances I needed the car repaired immediately. Rick greeted me with a smile and hooked up the OBD's scanner to the computer interface. He moved through the diagnostics with skill and expertise. He found that the two warnings were both over-heating related and checked the cooling system. He found it too low and filled it with the proper amount of antifreeze. I asked him if he could power flush the system to improve the condition of the system (car is 10 years old). He advised me to just carry a gallon of water and check the fluid level before starting out each morning. I ...? More »
