We first found PetCare when our 14 year old dog suddenly became disoriented and disabled at 10:00 pm. They were there for us, were compassionate, made an accurate diagnosis, and recommended the perfect specialist. A few years later, when our regular "family vet" retired we started using PetCare for non-emergencies. Every vet we've seen there has been intelligent, caring, and accurate in diagnosis and treatment. We now use PetCare for our pets' primary care, as do many others. They are well-known to be the BEST in the area for 24 hour emergency care, with 3 board-certified surgeons on staff, but surprisingly they are under-rated in the local community as a regular veterinary clinic, and i am writing this to let folks know how good they are. They don't talk down to pet owners. If you understand medical terms, they will be very forthcoming about prognosis and treatment plan options. They pre-state the amount you will be charged and their level of care is better than many hospitals for humans. The emergency staff members have a "can-do" upbeat attitude, even at 2:00 am, which, i can tell you from experience, is very helpful when you are worried because your foolish young pup just ate your prescription migraine medicine! (That one turned out okay in the end, thanks to their speedy assistance; we live far out in West County, and rather than have us drive the dog in, they stayed on the phone with us as they instructed us on how to dose her with hydrogen peroxide to make her vomit, and we all breathed a sigh of relief when she threw up the pills -- still intact and undigested -- less than ten minutes after we'd called. Crisis averted!) Seriously, PetCare has my deep respect and trust, and i would recommend them to anyone, of course for their superb emergency care, but also for their regular veterinary services.
