Businiess name:  Joey's Half Shell Bar
Review by:  citysearch c.
Review content:
Joey's Half Shell bar is a small quite, friendly oyster bar. You can go sit at the bar and converse with them as they are shucking your oysters. They are very friendly and kinda fun to be around. And by the way they make the best Oyster Stew I have ever eaten. I have eaten oyster stew at various placed but never had any like Joey's own special recipe. It's a small place easy to miss, but well worth the trip and money. Prices are good. Look for the little blue neon sign on the side of Hwy 22 just west of Star Ave. You will be glad you did. Pros: Great people, great food, good prices, good location for the east side. Oyster to go. Cons: Not enough room inside, can't handle large crowd.
