I came out to LA to visit a friend who's lived there her whole life, so she dutifully took me to all the touristy things like Rodeo Drive, Hollywood Walk of Fame and to see the homes of the stars. Then we wanted to do something a little different, so we booked a bus trip to Mexico through Los Angeles Sightseeing. It was great--exciting for me since I had never been to Mexico--and not the same old showing people around LA that I know she's had to endure every time someone comes to visit. The tour company picked us up at my hotel early in the morning and brought us to Tijuana for shopping and local cuisine. Yum! The bus was comfortable, the operator very friendly, and the whole day was very efficiently planned out. Better yet, all we had to do was relax and enjoy the ride. Not a bad way to end a California vacation!
