York Newspaper Company pretty much IS the news in York County. The paper isn't like a big city paper and often the news is a day old - especially national and global news. In this day and age of cutting edge technology one would expect more from a newspaper company. Granted, the local features are great and well done. However, I would like to see more in the way of restaurant reviews, etc. in the local section. The national and global news should be fresh - something that we didn't already hear about on the late night news or on the internet. Of course, being the only game in town, so to speak, they can pretty much print what they want and folks will buy it. It's a bargain at only .50 cents for the daily and 1.50 for the Sunday edition with advertisements and coupons.
