This is a great little hole-in-the-wall restaurant set back from the street near the intersection of Greenville St and Sewell Rd. This is the best Mexican food in Newnan, in my experience. Don't let the building's humble exterior and odd location fool you. This is some seriously good food that is much more authentic than your typical cookie-cutter Mexican restaurant. Although this restaurant does serve quite a number of Spanish-speaking customers (a good sign of quality and authenticity), the staff do speak English and are very friendly. The menu is fairly expansive, with over half a dozen choices for taco meat alone, including the more standard steak and chicken, but also more exotic choices such as spicy chopped pork and beef tongue. Also, don't expect the standard Americanized hard-shell taco with lettuce and tomato like you'd get at Taco Bell. These tacos are wonderfully spiced meat with a little chopped onion and cilantro in a handmade soft tortilla. Delicious. Their burritos are wonderfully flavored, and their Mexican sandwiches (tortas) are amazing. Try the Torta a la Diabla! It is a personal favorite. They have a little bit of everything, from whole fish to hot wings. They also have daily specials for lunch. Don't forget to ask about them. There is also a small cold bar for adding salsas and some basic veggies to your meal if you want them. If you love Mexican food and want to try something a little different, don't miss this place!
