This is the best place to go if you are planning a trip, or even thinking about maybe planning a trip. Part bookstore, part travel store, part luggage shop, this store has just about everything you need for travel, whether you are going to a five-star hotel in Rome or hiking among the temples in Angkor Wat. Their travel book selection is huge – you could easily spend hours browsing through the many volumes they stock. In addition to books and maps, they also offer everything from camping gear to compasses. Perhaps the best part is the knowledgeable staff. These are not your typical part-time workers looking for an after-school job – everyone who works there is well-traveled and can offer their expert opinions on the best books and equipment for your particular trip. They also offer travel presentations and book signings – pick up a copy of their calendar of events when you visit.
