Not an exaggeration. I joined this gym shortly after they opened up back in 06. Very early on I made recommendations and voiced concerns, they did make short term fixes but all in all NOTHING changed. Examples, I know for the most part it is hard to staff in the "off" hours but 1 time a week, maybe every other week, heck once a month show some prescence to the members that may not have the luxury to go during normal hourse to answer question let the members know whats going one.
Cleanliness, this is a joke. Carpets I dont think have ever been cleaned you can see stains all over the place. Mens bathroom. There are numerous times where toilet paper has run out. The current shower curtain is the original when i started back in June 06. The mat outside shower I dont think as been picked up or cleaned in over a year. There is so much dirt and grim underneath I'm afraid its going to leap over my shower shoes.
Manintenance. I dont think they know what the word is. A little preventative maintenance goes a long way. Heck your car can only go so far without gas or an oil change.
I know this is alot but hopefully reads this and either goes in, in person to address these things before signing up or does not sign up at all.
As to why I continue to go, I'm just a few months from moving to AZ and this is the most convenient gym to my work.
