Review content:
Although Lake Accotink is polluted by a nearby industrial facility, this small park does have its redeeming qualities. Despite its proximity to Springfield and the Mixing Bowl, Lake Accotink Park is a tranquil location with a bit of charm. The Antique Carousel is still in operation, and is equally as cheap as the park's own 9-hole mini golf course. Paddle boats and canoes are available for those who wish to brave the dangerous waters, and there are many trails through the woods for the land lovers. A picnic pavilion, grills, and a small playground are also available to the public. See the Fairfax County parks website for hours.
