I used to be a member of DCFCU and was happy. I had all the services I needed and didn't pay a lot in fees. Their tellers have made me change my mind though. I don't know how many times that I had told their tellers that I wanted x amount in checking and x amount in savings only to look at my receipt as I was leaving to see that they had screwed it up. Also, my father in law had a very scary encounter with their tellers as well. When my sister in law died he received a bunch of checks after the funeral. He deposited them into his account so he could write a check to the funeral home. He found out later that they deposited all the money in the WRONG account! They looked at the info on one of the checks and deposited it into that account. Luckily this person was a friend of the family but who knows how this situation would have resolved itself had it been a stranger. Careless tellers like those at Deere have made me take my money elsewhere.
