Review content:
After moving to Union City a few months back, my husband and I were looking for a good indian store in our neighborhood. We recently bought an old house and so were were making frequent trips to Home Depot where we saw Sangram's Palace. We decided to try it out and bought some stuff from them. They have all the basic stuff needed for indian cooking plus they have a decent collection of bollywood movies. Frankly, I don't really care for the stuff they sell there, as you pretty much get the exact same thing at any other indian store. But the super friendly staff is what makes me choose them over another indian store that is only a few yards away from my house! (It's amazing how important customer service is!)
There have been times when we were pretty late in returning the DVDs that we had rented and were afraid that they were going to charge us extra. But nothing...they didn't even mention that we were late! There were also times when we went to the store late at night (they close at 8:30 pm - officially), we went in at 9:15 once and the owner was still around (the Closed sign was up and the lights were off). I wanted to pick up something, so asked them if I could (was unaware at the time that they close at 8:30). They opened the store immediately without even hesitating...just for us. Some of my friends have also had the same experience and are extremely happy with their service.
