(I posted this on another review site and didn't feel like making up a whole 'nother review, but wanted them to get the exposure):
This salon ROCKS. I've been out of the city for a couple of years and didn't have a regular salon. I had an emergency "I need my hair cut right now" moment, and found them online and did a walk-in....they took me in in about 1/2 an hour, no problem. It was everything I needed out of a first-time go-to. I have really long hair and am always afraid of going to a new person/salon, but they did everything spot-on.
My stylist was Adam - he talked me through the whole process, explaining to me what the hell was going on each step of the way (you know how some stylists either don't tell you, or sound like they're full of it), and he knew exactly what I wanted and didn't try to talk me into something else. He. Is. Awesome.
The salon itself - cute, clean, and friendly. Everyone looked sweet and cheerful, none of that sullen, doing-you-a-favor, lemon-mouthed routine. They offer a drink (wine, coffee, water, etc.) and their flyers look like they have terrific specials on certain days of the week.
You can bet I've found my new stylist.
p.s. - This was about a month ago, and my hair still looks great - I haven't needed to b...l.....0.....w it out (sorry, but citysearch won't let me write the spelled word! seriously) to get it to look styled. It just IS. Osssuuuummm!!
Pros: It's a fabulous salon.
