Review content:
The Ice Cream Cottage is most definitely THE place to go for dessert when you're in the area. From the outside, it looks like a small house, with a swing and rocking chairs out front, and picnic tables in the side yard. Open the door and step back in time as you look over pictures of Arbutus as it used to be back in the 'good ole days'. Get a generously scooped ice cream cone, milkshake or snowcone (and other great treats) and settle into a booth for an old fashioned game of checkers. The boards are made right into the tables! The Ice Cream Cottage also serves lunch, something I look forward to trying soon, but so far, we've loved the ICE CREAM!
