I never would have believed I would spend so much $$ on two windows...But when Michael demonstrated the heat lamp and told me about the lifetime guarantee--I was sold. I had to change my original order due to financial reasons so Justin came to re-do the paperwork. The sales guys really worked with me through my hemming and hawing trying to decide which windows to replace. Kevin and Wayne did a great job installing my two large sliding windows 66"x55" and 103"x55". They were able to save the old replacement windows which I will re-install in another room until I can afford more Penguin windows (My house has the original windows from when it was built back in the late 1890's) In addition to wrapping the outside trim, they replaced the trim on the inside, which was in poor condition. They did such a great job on the trim that I have yet another decision--paint or clear poly, hmmm....Kevin and Wayne work really well together, they covered things up before they started and cleaned up the work area so that you would never know they were even here. The windows are fantastic. Yesterday was in the 90's and I was able to stay in the southern exposed room (a converted 3 season porch) with only a fan. With the old windows I would have to install my AC because the room was like a sauna.-The new windows cut down drastically on the outside noises... I wish I could afford to do the rest of the house... I would definitely recommend these windows to people who care about quality and believe "You get what you pay for".
