Review content:
I am on a continual quest for a cheap but good quality mani-pedi in the Valley and Oasis Spa is not it. First, I would like to say that I have gone there twice and have had the same horrible experience. I would say the manicure might almost be worth it for $21, but the manicursists not only give poor manicures but are also incredibly rude. When I asked her to make one nail a little shorter so it would be even with the others she rolled her eyes at the other girl next to us not even caring if I saw it or not. It was extremely obvious that she did not want to be there and did not even make an effort to make me feel welcome throughout the whole experience. The pedicare was even worse. There are not pedicare chairs and instead you sit in armchairs and put your feet in a plastic basin that was stained and dirty. Let's just say that having your feet there was slimy and disgusting. Even worse, there are no foot rests to put your feet on when you are getting your pedicure. Instead you put your feet on their knees. I felt like I was crushing the tiny women with my feet the whole time. So not only was I worried about irritating the already irritable women with my big old feet, but it was uncomfortable for me because I could'nt put my leg pressure down like you would normally do on a foot rest. The worst part of this experience is that if you don't call ahead the day before the price is almost double! I highly recommend going somewhere else where the pedicure is equally crappy, but at least you sit in a real pedicure chair and can get a somewhat-nice chair massage. Hey, I'd even rather go somewhere without a massage chair but at least have a foot rest.
