Review content:
The Penobscot Theatre Company is one of the best live theaters in the area.
We have seen several live plays housed in the Bangor Opera House on Main Street.
The dress code is casual, but if you wish to get dressed up for a night out on the town you will not be the only one.
Their plays are outstanding!! We have seen such performances as "Betrayal," "The Christmas Carol," "Odd Couple" and many more. I can honestly say that we have not seen a bad performance there.
Many of their actors are local, but they do have some fine actors that are season veterans that have been on Broadway, TV, etc.
They serve light refreshments before the play and during intermission for a small fee.
I highly recommend the performances of the Penobscot Theater Company - you will be pleasantly surprised!
