Review content:
My wife and I celebrated our 1 year anniversary at the Rough Creek Lodge last October. We took advantage of one of their packages that included a 3 course dinner at their award winning restaurant (it received a 29 by Zagat), a night stay, and breakfast the next morning. The night we were there there were maybe 4 or 5 other couples, so it felt like we had the place to ourselves. While the dinner was outstanding (one of the best I've ever eaten), breakfast was even better. When you drive up you don't really know what to expect, but once you enter the building, WOW, what a sight. The rooms and main room are AMAZING. One of the nicest hotels I have or ever will stay at. I can see why it was recently selected as the best lodge in North America by Conde Naste. Recently, it was named one of the top 100 hotels in the world and for good reason. The place is one of a kind.
Packages including dinner and breakfast start at $149 per person...a hell of a deal.
