My home alarm monitoring company was purchased by ultraguard. After a year with them, I elected to discontinue services. They continue to bill me, however, and refuse to cease. Although they stopped monitoring my home when the contract expired, they will not cease billing me for the service. I have called them at least a dozen times to attempt to rectify, but they only present new arguments about why my account is not cancelled. The latest: I needed to let them know I was canceling within 60 days of the expiration of the contract. Hmmm, I guess calling them and telling them I no longer wanted their services does not count. Additionally, it is odd that they discontinued monitoring my house, yet continue to bill me and refuse to acknowledge that I canceled the service.
