My son rented an apartment which was dirty and had very old appliances and a rusted, broken stove. The bathroom had stained fixtures and the toilet was bad.
When he moved out he was charged with what I consider an excessive fee for cleaning even though it was cleaner when he moved out than when he moved in. Clearly, a money-making venture at the end of the lease.
