They did not even deserve the one star.
I will start with the food. I have had better Italian food at a midway at a county fair, out of a trash can, the next day. Whether it was the open can of Ragu, sorry that brand is too upscale for what I tasted; to the overcooked pasta, or burnt bottom bread served, I found the entire food portion worthy of a bottle of syrup of ipecac.
The service. While I would like to say there was bad service, but it would be more accurate to say the service was non-existent. The waitress' son who was around 5 and quite the spitter visited our table more than our waitress. Our waitress kept promising refills for our empty glasses but kept returning to other tables without addressing our table. Of course she started off our meal by spilling a entire glass of water on one of my tablemates. No apologies; no visit from the manager to offer at least a token comp...
