At one time the place was dark and dingy, but they did a remodel a few years ago and the place really came back to life! New paint and carpet and rearranging the store really added a lot of class to the place. They now have a new person helping out the owner, and he's been really on the ball restocking trades and getting some great stuff on the new racks. Plus, their back issue selection is still outstanding. Don't expect a small rack of new books here, they have several racks of new books, tons of trades/graphic novels/hard covers, and more back issues than you can imagine! The only problem I would say they have is some water leaking, nothing's gotten damaged, but it's still annoying. According to the owner, the landlord won't fix the patio upstairs, so until that happens they have to deal with a little bit of water when it rains and the snow melts. They've really turned it around and want to be THE source for comics, trades, and back issues in the Fox River Valley! (Or in my opinion they should be :) )
