Review content:
I brought a new formal ballgown to this cleaners to be cleaned & pressed, before a big event my daughter was attending.
After the clerk Ester looked at the beading on the dress I was assured it would be cleaned by hand because of the beading.
I picked up the dress, however my mistake was not looking at the dress out of the plastic bag the cleaners place it in.
The following day my daughter got ready for the event & came to my house 2 hours before she was to be at the event to put her dress on. To our shock the dress was destroyed, beads were missing, all of the rhinestones were gone from the holders, and some sort or glue spots were all over the dress inside and out. Unfortunately, & to my daughters disappointment, there was no time to do anything, but wear the damaged dress to the event.
The next business day when I returned to the cleaners to discuss the destroyed dress the clerk Ester said she would talk to the manager Frank Kim and get back with me. I asked her to have him call me.
I explained to Ester the original price for dress was $200, however I paid $108, because it was purchased on sale. I paid $27 to clean the dress totaling $135.
After hearing nothing from the cleaners I stopped back in 4 days later. Ester told me because the dress had been worn I should pay for the cleaning, even though they ruined the dress. She the offered me $40 in cash and $40 in a store credit. Ester told the manager the value was $80. She subtracted $27 from the $108 & came up with an $80 value, even though I had already paid the $27. She made several different offers, none of which amounted to $135, when I asked her to have the manager call me I was told "no, he doesn't talk to customers." I then wrote a letter to the manager explaining what happened which Ester said she would give to him.
4 days went by with no word from the cleaners or the manager. I again stopped in this time provide a letter stating what I would accept for the damaged dress. I'm still waiting for a call from the manager.
