I had an amazing anniversay here. Despite being a Best Western, this is actually one of the best hotels in Los Angeles. Don't believe me? See for yourself, do a search for them on TripAdvisor. Our room was amazing, new and clean with a HUGE balcony. Not only was the balcony huge but it was gorgeous. There was no one around us and no one above us so instead of a roof above the balcony there was a beautiful terrace with plants, flowers, and vines. Better still, there was a HUGE jacuzzi tub in the bathroom. I was afraid it would be tiny but it did not disapoint. Also a large shower and 2 large beds. Free internet access and DVD players upon request. The pool area is absolutely amazing. I have never seen a more beautiful place in my life, I felt like I was in Italy. It took my breath away and I found myself thinking it would be the *perfect* place for a wedding. The hotel feels like its not even in Los Angeles yet it is located on Sunset and plenty of shops (like Hustler ;) and restaurants nearby. Our room was 322 and the best suite in the place, so if you want the best of the best request that room. It was $229/Night but that is as expensive as it gets. A normal room is around $130 although I'm not entirely sure. If you want a pool view, request a different suite because ours faced the city, but it is more isolated. All in all this place was amazing and did not feel like other Best Westerns I have been too. It has better reviews than the Hilton and other boutique hotels on Sunset (like Grafton). Oh and the service was excellent. We started talking with one of the maids and she ended up giving us free drinks that people leave behind (including Vodka). She also sold us some 6 packs of soda since the hotel only has vending machines. She was one of the most friendly people I ever met and so was the maintance man who set up the DVD player we requested. Both told us they have been working there more than 8 years and were polite and friendly people to deal with. TRUST ME, I spent DAYS and HOURS online checking for the perfect anniversary weekend and this has to be one of the best in Los Angeles area. They even gave us an extra 2 hours to check-out, giving us more time in that big jacuzzi ;)
