When we finally decided to replace our windows we werent expecting the multitudes of different products and approaches that some companys take in order to make an extra dollar these days. As a matter of fact, when the office manager at American Home called to schedule the appointment we had already recieved 2 quotes. I was almost sick when I saw how much those quotes were and the considering the length of time it took to get the salesmen to give them to us which was no less than 3 hrs on each quote. In fact I almost had to ask 1 salesman to leave so when American Home called us I simply told Sandra we weren't going to do anything at this time because we just couldn't afford it. That is why I am compelled to take the time to tell you what a fantastic job the team at American Home Exteriors was able to do when I thought my window crusade was finished. From the courteous, proffesional, and understanding approach of Sandra the office manager to the salesman Mike who was very informative and knowledgable about the window industry. Sandra told us you really might want to reconsider and get one more bid and she reassured me they would not take all day after I explained my experience the previous 2 estimates. The main thing about this whole remodel with them was their willingness to help us in the process and structure a plan that actually made since and then giving us time to decide on what we would do. And Sandra was right it didn't take all day and I have my new windows.They use Simonton Windows top rated in the market so no I didn't just go with pricing. They were willing to work with us on every aspect of the job. I had some questions that I did need to have clarified so I called their office and Mr. Long the owner was able to satisy my questions. Unlike the other companys we spoke with. Which 1 told me that they would have to call back and they didn't to the other saying the owner was in a meeting and he would call back and he didn't. You cannot go wrong with American Home Exteriors I can testify to that!
