Review content:
You know when you are a kid and you have some sort of good food for the first time and it becomes the bench mark for all other place that you go? Well, that is San Pan for me. Since the age of 13 I’ve been going to this establishment and enjoying the #6 - “ABC” combo plate. In high school my girlfriends and I went there to gossip about boys at least 2 or 3 times a week! When I was in college I went every time I came home for a weekend. As an adult my sisters and I gathered there with our mother and Aunt for birthday celebrations and “just because” lunches or dinners. As a wife I introduced it my husband and his family. As a new mother I enhanced a toddler photo of my first born to say “I love San Pan” in a bubble above his head and gave it to Winnie, the proprietor. It pains me that because of the economy this place may close at the end of the year. While Almond Boneless Chicken is my favorite, I have also enjoyed #13 - Beef with Pea Pods, #3 – Beef Bok Toy, #16 – Shrimp in Lobster Sauce and Gai Kow. Their egg rolls are the best I have ever eaten. It is not fancy – it hasn’t been updated in years! It is not fine dining – the air conditioning is almost never on! But, boy oh boy, the food is GREAT! Please help keep this great restaurant open during these tough times! Go in and give it a try or order a carry out.
Pros: Best Egg Rolls in town
