This has to be the worst dining experience in the desert. 3 of us ordered 3 different entrees. One thing in common was NO TASTE - ...at all! the mashed potatoes tasted like water. The chicken fried steak is a fried hamburger. The chicken & dumplings are a total mystery .. parts undercooked.. parts overcooked.. but still.. all the flavor of WATER. The soup which was supposed to be corn chowder was a runny yellow liquid. I have worked in the restaurant industry before. I TRULY BELIEVE THAT THIS RESTAURANT IS RECYCLING FOOD FROM OTHER TABLES. The food is served "family style" (in community bowls) and uneaten portions are scurried back to the kitchen without asking if you want to take anything home. On top of all this, after we complained and sent the food back we were STILL CHARGED $30.00 BECAUSE THAT IS THEIR MINIMUM SERVICE FEE... EVEN FOR UNSATISFIED CUSTOMERS!!!! Do yourself a HUGE favor and AVOID MURPH'S GASLIGHT AT ALL COSTS!!!!!?
