Review content:
Good: Wow. Belltown Dance Studio provides a lot of fun for a rsuch a small price. I am impressed bspecifically referring to the practice dances on Sundays ( and Wednesdays). the classes are great with good styling from owner Jim and his associate who are very helpful and friendly. I love learning the moves and "styling" techniques. I love the laid back, upbeat atmosphere. Friendly and always a dance partner. no standing around here--for people of all ages and level of experience. Very helpful. beautiful studio.. Bad: What I didn't like is the negative vibres of some of the reviews that I read. Wow. Seems like people took offense over some incident and instead of going directly to the owner to discuss it, went to Google to gossip and vent. That shows immaturity. I found the owner, Jim Chow to be consistently kind, encouraging and approachable if I have a question or concern. He is always willing to listen and work things out.. Improvements: I can't think of any improvements that are needed...just wish others knew of this place. It seems to draw really nice people, who are there to learn to dance and want to have a good time. People with a passion for dance, from beginners to advanced. Everyone seems to mix well and I don't feel any negative "vibes"--only positive. Thats why I go there--even though I live a bit far away.. Other: I really look forward to Sundays practice dances and just signed up for a class as I want to learn to follow better and gain confidence with my styling. I would suggest that if anyone has concerns or feels that something is lacking, that they go directly to Jim and kindly voice thier concerns. He has proven on many occasions, that he is a good listener. Try it!.
