Review content:
We have started the New Year off with some great education and new products! We brought in AVEDA haircare, skincare and body and it is great. Our staff attended class in Milwaukee in January to learn everything they could about AVEDA to share it with our guests! Also in January we had 3 in house facial classes. We spent every Sunday in January at the salon and spa learning the Green Science Anti-Aging Facial, the Brightening Facial for hyper-pigmentation and Facial Massage techniques. We learned some amazing new additions to our already amazing facials. We also had a weekend class in January for our stylists who had advanced color design with Framesi! Another January stylists class, an Alterna cutting educator flew in to teach our staff advanced cutting techniques. Another class we were in this month was value added services: we learned and performed the extra special touches that will make our guests experience top notch! Our estheticians went to Milwaukee to learn how nutrition effects skin and how to create balance inside and out! It doesn't end there we also had a hands on make up class learning advanced techniques and color matching with our 100% mineral make up, Glo Minerals! That was just January, visit our website to see pictures of us in class. In other news, Salon Sage donates their hair clippings to soak up oil spills. Last year over 2,600 oil spills occurred in the world. They weren't all are high profile, but most had an impact on the environment! On recycling, bottles are easy to recycle but the tops take special attention, Salon Sage Spa & Herbs collects all bottle tops and ships them to Aveda to recycle them! Sharing is important Salon Sage Spa & Herbs has donated over $5000 in cash and brand new products to the Sharing Center,a 501(c)3, community-supported, faith-based organization that provides needed services and goods to families that reside in western Kenosha County. We are preparing another donation this week to add to that total!! Thank you all for supporting us and we will continue to do good by you and the community!
