Review content:
I'm sorry, I don't usually write these reviews and only occasionally read them, but I am extremely annoyed. I went to my scheduled appointment with Dr. Boyd a few weeks ago, arrived early as requested to fill out paperwork, signed in at 8:52 a.m. and didn't leave until 11:32. I saw the doctor for a total of 20 minutes and the rest of the time I waited. No apologies from the doctor for my long 2 1/2 hour wait. Being new to the area, I need to see a GYN for my 15 year old daughter who has an ovarian cyst. As a concerned parent I felt it was important to discuss the particulars with a GYN. So, silly me, I scheduled another appointment with the understanding of the receptionist, that we didn't have a lot of time because I pulled my daughter out of school to be seen. The receptionist assured me that the doctor was running on time. We waited 20 minutes past our scheduled appointment time to get into the patients room and then another 25 minutes for the doctor to come in. I don't call that "on time". When I peeked my head out the door, I said, unknowingly, to the doctor, I've been waiting here a long time, I have to get my daughter back to school. Her reply was, I've been called to a delivery, the nurse will be right in to talk to you. At that point, I walked out. She may be a good OB doctor, but her concern for her GYN patients is missing, completely. I wish the best to you if you use her as your GYN.
