Review content:
Sure, this salon has some talented stylists. But as a former employee with behind-the-scenes knowledge, I cannot recommend this salon. It's fine for people who don't mind being ridiculed and gossiped about as soon as you walk out the door, but I don't know many people who wouldn't mind that. The owner employs many of her own relatives and they get preferential treatment far and above that of the other employees who weren't fortunate enough to be born into (self-proclaimed) illustrious Duke family. As stylists they are talented, there's no doubt about that. But so are many other stylists who don't get a kick out of making fun of the very clients that pay their salary. If you encourage nepotism, this salon is the one for you. Unfortunately, I can't condone what I've seen these women do to each other and their clients.
