Review content:
I recently moved to Houston and saw local ads in the paper promoting summer events at this great outdoor theatre located adjacent to Hermann Park and the museum district. My friends and I wanted to go see fireworks for July 4th and he heard that the Houston Symphony was playing a patriotic themed concert at the theatre so we went. We got there about an hour early and it was already getting packed... people with lawnchairs sit on the left side of the hill and everyone on blankets on the right. It was a perfect evening with lots of kids and good music. Everyone brings coolers for little picnics with their friends. If you go there they have brochures for events throughout the summer season... with an event scheduled almost for everyday ranging from music to dance to musicals. And best of all.. its all free.. The covered seats do require that you go early in the day and get a ticket for them.. but again its free.
