Review content:
The Rover has to be my favorite restaurant in town! You just can't beat it for atmosphere, excellent food and a great selection of brews as well as other drinks.
It truly feels like being in Ireland when you walk into this fun, laid-back place. Very cool when you even get to hear one of the owners chatting with a patron in a gorgeous Irish accent. There's a wonderful selection of Irish beers, a full bar and a wine list.
Then there's the food!!! A nice selection of traditional pub fare, plus sandwiches, salads, soups, and even some amazing entrees that have things like fresh catch of the day and yummy chicken and steak dishes. There are enough big filling entrees and light delicious meals that everyone can find something.
My favorite meal (right now) is actually the Ploughman's Plate. It's just cheese and fruit so with a glass of wine it's excellent for a summer's day.
If they would bring back the country tureen, then I would be a VERY happy person!
