Although I absolutely adored his receptionists and nurses, I refuse to return to this OB/GYN. Right off the bat, he made me sign a contract before he examined me stating that I wouldn't switch doctors during my pregnancy and that I HAD to give birth at Hilo Medical Center. Then, after my c-section, I suffered from seroma. He did not give us correct information on how to clean to wound and he instructed us to dress the wound in a manner that was not the most efficient. I ended up with a major infection and he gave me the choice of quitting nursing and taking a certain antibiotic or going to a general surgeon. Going to the general surgeon was the best choice we made, because he treated the wound correctly and I healed up nicely after.
