Review content:
As the smaller (in both physical space and membership) of the two major fitness clubs in Newtown, the Center Club actually offers a fair amount of amenities for its standard membership price. Unlike the Newtown Athletic Club, there is no pool and no indoor track, but there are plenty of machines, fitness and yoga classes, personal trainers, etc. The staff keeps the facility clean, and responds to any customers' concerns well. The machines are modern and effective, and there are virtually always enough to accomodate the crowd. The club is open every day (albeit limited hours on weekends and holidays) and parking is ample.
