Review content:
Ned's has been in its familiar location on State St. in Newtown Borough for as long as many people can remember. It's a relatively simple, small store selling cigars (hence its name), lottery tickets, magazines, candy, and other small items. The amount of products is rather small due to the limits on space, but most people who go here probably know what they're looking for. It's the type of store catering to those who know they want to buy a few Powerball tickets and maybe pick up some candy while they're there. The store also caters to those who need some cigars to celebrate a special occasion. It meets its goals well with a very simple, straightforward layout. The old building, however, makes it appear fairly dark and musty at times so atmospehere is not a high point here. Still, the store is functional and meets its objectives well.
