Review content:
Orfila Vineyard is a fun place to spend a couple of hours. First of all, they have several great wines to taste. My personal favorite was the Merlot. The Vineyard has a guided tour everyday at 2 p.m. or you can just tour on your own anytime. The tasting room is open 10-6, daily. They have a beautiful area for you to enjoy a picnic. And they have a fun gift shop that is a good place to shop for wine related merchandise, including hand painted bottles and personalized labels. I haven't been to it yet, but Orfila also has a tasting room in Julian and there is an art viewing gallery at that location. My recommendation is to stop by Orfila in Escondido on your way to the Wild Animal Park!
