Purchased a car online through Sundance. We made "numerous" telephone and email inquiries trying to learn the actual condition of the car. Despite asking every question we could think of, including, "Please describe any blemishes, dings, dents, scratches or any other issues whatsoever that you would want to know about if you were buying the car from someone nline", what they HID from us and carefully did not tell us until after we received delivery was that: (1) the rims were rusted out, (2) the wheels were then spray painted at the dealership so you couldn't see the problems in the pictures, (3) the car had more miles than advertised, (4) the spray paint went all over the breaks and breaks pads and drums, (5) the rear wiper didn't work, (6) there was a deep chip in the paint, (7) several dings in the bumpers, and above all, (8) the car was completely infiltered with stinch from years of smoking and then covered up with cheap after-shave air freshners. Totally SURPRISED AND SHOCKED. This experience alone has proven once again that you should never buy something (especially a used car from Sundance) that you haven't seen and inspected yourself. Caveat Emptor (i.e. Buyer Beware) is certainly something I should have remembered when buying a used car online. I guess I fell prey to the idea that you can actually trust someone to tell you the truth when you ask. Hard lesson to learn when you spend that much money, but I'm pretty sure it won't happen again.
