I want to give Ma Soba more stars because I really wanted to love the place but I cant. If you live in the area, number of good asian/sushi spots are far and few. Ma Soba fills the void. However, they do so just well enough to pass the presentation test. The food leaves alot to be desired and feels quite average for $$ spent, especially if youve had sushi fare for years. Service also left alot to be desired on a recent visit. The place tends to attract alot of couples on dates and small groups who are celebrating special occasions, and like the location. What Ma Soba lacks in food quality it makes up for in location and atmosphere.
