Review content:
Le Cheval offers probably the best Vietnamese food in Oakland. It's located at 10th and Clay Streets in the Old Oakland section of Downtown Oakland. The building that Le Cheval sits in is very old, over 100 years old.
The food at Le Cheval is great! If you are not Vietnamese, everything on the item will be new to you so don't be afraid to try something. For people new to Vietnamese cuisine, it can be a bit spicy. I happen to like spicy food, therefore I enjoy going to Le Cheval.
My favorite dish at Le Cheval is the chicken mixed with vegetables. All dishes at Le Cheval are in both Vietnamese and English, so I don't remember what it was called. I'm also some what of a novice to Vietnamese cuisine. I'd also like to mention that I'd recommend the spring rolls for appetizers.
The atmosphere is great at Le Cheval, although it can get noisy sometimes. The service is fast. Overall, Le Cheval is a good dining experience.
