We were recently visiting Las Vegas. My wife and I are Indians and have a weakness for Indian food. We tried this restaurant after trying a couple of other Indian restaurants in Las Vegas. I looked through their website and seeing that the owner was from Kashmir was expecting authentic north-indian Non-veg food. We ordered Chicken Biryani (something that is usually made well in North India) , Delhi-Style chicken and some naan. We were disappointed with both the dishes. Usually in India, restaurants owned by muslims make real delicious Biryanis. It is their specialty. But their biryani tasted as if it was made by some Chennai chef (i.e. someone who has had minimal exposure to north-indian cuisine). We specifically asked the waiter to make it Indian style (i.e. be generous in using spices) because we did not want the "americanized" Indian food. The service was disappointing too. Twice, I requested for "raw-oninons" and "raw-green chillies" (it is a common practice among north-indians to have them with their meals) and both the times the waiter said that they were on their way and it never showed up. On the bright side, the decor was nice and the ambiance was good too. I was pleasantly surprised to find their restroom quite clean (something that we do not find so often in a Indian restaurant). Pros: Nice Ambiance, Stylish Decor Cons: Very mediocre tasting food, poor service
