I used to come here before the new management. Don't get me wrong, Sam is a great dude, always take care of me and my friends when we go, but he has changed the place that I knew from almost 2 years ago, from a great dive, to a Hollywood-esque fancy bar that doesn't fit in Hawthorne. I used to LOVE coming there on the weekends and after work. But now, I stick to certain other places, with the used-to-be regulars.
Pros: Great owner, hot bartenders, cheap drinks
Cons: Too close to a "hollywood" type place where there should be a dive
