Review content:
My elderly mother has been a patient at this hospital several times and I have been appalled at the uncaring, unprofessional nursing staff. In her latest visit to the ER, she was left alone for an hour and they didn't even give her the call button. When I complained, they said they were monitoring her vitals from the desk. But did all those monitoring machines tell them she was freezing with only one thin sheet to cover her or that she desperately needed to go to the bathroom? The nurses never smile or interact with the patients. The rest of the staff is so unprofessional: the front desk representative was joking with the paramedics as she led me back to see my mother, like they worked at McDonalds, not in a place where people are seriously ill or dying. And this was not an isolated incident. My mother was an inpatient for a week after having a stroke and it was the same story. The nurses were supposed to feed her one-on-one due to swallowing difficulties, but they never did
