Review content:
Are you from out of town and coming to NYC for medical treatment for yourself or a loved one? Hotels are expensive but there is a warm and caring place for you to stay at a reasonable price. At Miracle House, (about $40/night, sliding scale also available), you will stay in your own private clean safe bedroom in an apartment that you share with other guests who will have their own room. There is free breakfast - (interestingly paid for by a grant from Philip Morris, the cigarette company) and some free dinners. Miracle House needs a referral from a social worker or your doctor and you should try to call ahead as much as possible as space fills up quickly. One caveat - they will not accept you if you come alone, caregiver or family member needs to accompany you.
