Maymont is FREEEEEE! Which is a big deal for me -- they have a small animal petting barn, a wildlife exhibit that trails along a walking path where you can see Bears, Bison, a Bob Cat, some cute foxes, hawks, owls and eagles -- There's also a group of themed gardens like the "Japanese Garden" with a pond and a waterfall (plus others) and there's a Nature center with local area fish, otters, and turtles --
They give tours and classes, there are historic carriage rides and concerts all year long -- Maymont is a wonderful place to go whatever the season!
