If your looking for a cool place to worship God where the pastor can really bring the word to life then this church in Vancouver Wa will feed you. Here are some notes from a speaker at the chruch Lets look at one man, Solomon, who lived at both extremes of a swinging pendulum. He teaches us in Proverbs and Ecclesiastes many lessons he learned, both good and bad. Ecclesiastes 3 begins with the familiar lines, "To everything there is a season, a time for every purpose under heaven." And I know this long, but I really want you to hear them all…. A time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck what is planted; a time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to break down, and a time to build up; a time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance; a time to cast away stones, and a time to gather stones; a time to embrace, and a time to refrain from embracing; a time to gain, and a time to lose; a time to keep, and a time to throw away; a time to tear, and a time to sew; a time to keep silence, and a time to speak; a time to love, and a time to hate; a time of war, and a time of peace. PAUSE Some of that is really heavy, but all of it is inspired by God himself. And We all know that there is a time for all of these things, we see them happening every day, but the tough part is deciding when is the appropriate time to do each of these things for me and my family. Some of these things are a huge deal. These scriptures mention there is time for war, and silence, a time for laughing and for gaining. For example, someone might think when do I go on vacation in order to laugh and dance and embrace and lose time as some these verses claim, when I just have enough to pay all of my bills and am afraid that if I take a week off too much will pile up and I’ll lose control.
