Took my car to have the heater core replaced only to be informed of other issues that needed to be repaired asap. One example is that I was informed my hoses to the heater core were damaged so much that they were loosing as much if not more water than the heater core, and that it all had to be replaced for a ridiculous amount of money, over a thousand dollars for a $45 heater core, two $20 hoses, and labor, you do the math. I decided to do the work myself and found that not only were the hoses not leaking, they were both perfectly fine as they had been replaced only a year ago! I'm not sure if someone just doesn't know what they were inspecting or if I was intentionally lied to (this being a college-town, and they thought they could get away with it), but I'm never taking my vehicle there again, and wouldn't recommend them to anyone unless you just have loads of money to spend for un-needed repairs.
