Review content:
The day after we bought our Xterra we were driving on the highway and one of the tires nearly came off. As soon as this happened we were sent into oncoming traffic. The tow truck driver said that all the lug nuts had fallen off that tire and some were missing from others. We were asked to stay back in case the entire tire came off as the SUV would fall from the tow truck --scary. When speaking to the Manager he asked "Well could some of your friends be playing a joke on you?" Seriuosly??? We were not compensated in any way or even apologized to because it must have been our fault. In actuality I am sure one of there mechanics forgot to tighten our lug nuts. A month later a belt snapped causing the fan blades to break, engine over heat, stuck on the side of the road again. Took my other car (black and at 3 months old from brand new --not from their dealership) to their body shop because it got covered in white road paint and they were "preferred" by my insurance company. After 10 days of it sitting there I come to pick it up and it is covered in scratches, gashes, and still has white paint on it. They say it is "rock damage" and won't fix it but do admit to the demolished back windsheil and replace it (on a 3 month old car!!!!). When I started crying they decided to keep it for another day but still would not fix the "rock" damage. So I filed a "rock" damage claim and took the car to another body shop. The other body shop owner didn't know what he was supposed to fix becuase the "rock" damage was caused by some sort of square tool ---interesting. The last straw was when we went in for an oil change and were driving home on 70 only to see that our hood was not latched. Pulled off the highway, avoiding tractor trailers, to latch the hood. Probably could have been killed again. The only reason we stayed with them was for engine for life. I called and told them I could care less for the engine for life, my life is more worth it... DO NOT GET A VEHICLE FROM THEM, and if you decide to don't get it serviced there.
